Myrtle Beach, SC - September 19, 2006 -- The leading oceanfront Myrtle Beach condo presale company, The Hoffman Group, today announced the appointment of Steve Edelman to the new position of Chief Operating Officer. "Steve is an amazing individual," said David Hoffman, founder and CEO of the Myrtle Beach real estate sales and marketing company. In making the announcement, Hoffman and Casey Shroff, company president and new owner, indicated that Mr. Edelman has been being groomed for the position ever since he joined The Hoffman Group one year ago as Vice President of Business Development for Myrtle Beach Real Estate.
Shroff, who purchased the company in April of this year, stated "I intend to build on Hoffman's successful record and take the company to the next level of growth. David and I feel that in order to accomplish this, we must have one leader dedicated to overall day-to-day operations who will report directly to us as CEO and President."
Continued Hoffman, "With the combination of Steve's hands-on, collaborative and proactive approach and mine and Casey's vision for reorganization and growth, we fully expect to produce the same dynamic results that the company has always been know for."
According to Hoffman, much of the infrastructure preparation for growth is already in place. Over the last 12-month period, in addition to the hiring of Mr. Edelman, a number of corporate positions have been added to the Myrtle Beach Real Estate development company including Tom Tse as company Comptroller, Jeff Norris, Kevin Moats and Tommy Meyer as top-level InformationTechnology experts, Randy Zlobec as Internet Marketing Director and Jason Mullins as Graphic Designer.
In addition, nine Myrtle Beach real estate professionals have been added to the new construction presales team. Tim Horton, Vice President of sales will continue to oversee the force that is now over 30 strong. A new division, titled MBcondosales.com, has been created to concentrate exclusively on sales and marketing of existing Myrtle Beach condos. Ron Willis is the manager of the MB CONDOSALES.COM division which currently has 14 professional sales associates.
The new marketing department has achieved unprecedented levels of lead-generating productivity for Myrtle Beach condos by revamping the company's www.oceaninvestments.com website and creating a new site, www.mbcondosales.com to promote the general brokerage division.
